Adda

Adda is a Finnish diminutive of Adela. Adela originates in Germanic languages and means "graceful and noble". Saint Adela founded the monastery in Pfazel, France. She was a celebrated 7th century Frankish princess. She died on December 24, and until today that is her feast day.
