Adelmo

Adelmo is an Italian and Spanish variant of Adelmar. Adelmar is ultimately derived from Adelhard. Adelhard is the German form of the English name Abelard which means 'noble, or resolute'. It is a combination of the two Germanic words - “adel”, which means 'noble', and “hard”, which means 'strong or persevering'.
