Anastazie

Anastazie is a Czech variant of Anastasia. Anastasia originates in Greek language and means "resurrection". It is a feminine form of Anastasius. It is a name of several saints and probably the most famous Anastasia is a woman named Anna Anderson who claimed to be Grand Duchess Anastasia, a member of the Russian royal family murdered by the Bolsheviks. There have been many books written and films made about the history of her survival. Until today, the name is one of the most popular ones given to girls in Russia.
