Andromeda

Andromeda originates in Greek language and means "to be aware of man". In Greek mythology, Andromeda was a princess who was supposed to be sacrificed to a sea monster by being chained to a rock. Eventually, she was saved by Perseus. Inspired by the Greek legend, Andromeda is also the name of a constellation in the northern skies. As a feminine given name it is rather unusual these days.
