Bach

Bach is a very old Anglo-Saxon name, derived from the even older Germanic “bah” or “baecc”, which means 'living or working beside a stream'. The name is so old that it is found almost throughout Europe, although it is most common in England and Germany. There are some sources that also put its meaning as “baker”.
