Beatrycze is a Polish variant of Beatrix. Beatrix originates in Latin language and means "voyager". Beatrix was the name of several saints in Christianity and it was also a popular given name within royalty. A famous bearer was Beatrix Potter, an English author and creator of Peter Rabbit.
