Conan

Conan originates in Gaelic languages and means "small wolf". This was the name of several dukes in Brittany, as well as the name of a famous Scottish writer, author of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Most recently it was popularized by the fictional character of Conan the Barbarian. As a masculine given name it is rather rare these days.
