Dong

Dong originates in Chinese language and means "born in the east". Initially, it was used as a surname and as a surname it functions until today, mainly in Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese languages. As a masculine given name it is very rare in the United States. The Dong People are an ethnic group in China.
