Eller

Eller is a very unusual name and it means “a low lying area”. The name as such was introduced into England from Germany where the term was used in certain areas of the Rhine valley and the name of the river was Elera in Old German. The term Elera itself is believed to be of Celtic origin whose meaning is uncertain.
