Enoch is a Biblical name with Hebrew origins. It is a variant of the Old Hebrew name 'Chanokh', whose meaning is 'dedicated or faithful'. In the Bible, Enoch is someone who never died, as he was taken up by God when his time on earth was done. He was said to have “walked with God”.
