Gloria

Gloria originates in Latin language and means "woman of glory". It was popularized by Gloria Steinem, an American feminist, journalist and activist in the 1960s and 1970s, and also Gloria Estefan, a Cuban American musician. Gloria was also the name of a character in George Bernard Shaw's You Never Can Tell. In the United States it has always been one of the more popular feminine given names.
