Guatemoc

Guatemoc is a variant of Cuauhtemoc. Cuauhtemoc originates in Native American languages and means "one who falls like an eagle". This was the name of the Aztec ruler of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire, in the 15th century. As a masculine given name, Guatemoc is very rare in the United States these days.
