Imogen

Imogen originates in Gaelic languages and means "young maiden". Some sources suggest that the name was invented by Shakespeare for his play Cymbeline. Originally he wanted to use the name Innogen but due to misprinting it, Imogen was used instead and finally became very popular. As a feminine given name it is frequent especially in the United Kingdom.
