Ira

Ira originates in Hebrew language and means "alert". Some sources also suggest other origins, including Greek and Maori. In Polynesian mythology, Ira is the goddess of sky and stars. Nowadays, the name can be used as both feminine and masculine, but it is much more popular for boys.
