Joska

Joska is a diminutive of Jozsef, itself a Hungarian variant of Joseph. Joseph originates in Hebrew language and means "God raises". As a masculine given name it has been used over centuries, and in different spellings all over the world. In The Book of Genesis, Joseph was the son of Jacob and Rachel. He is also known as Virgin Mary's husband and adoptive father of Jesus.
