Kaimana originates in Hawaiian language and means "power of the sea". It can be used as both feminine and masculine given names, currently it is much more popular for boys. In fact, in recent years it has occurred in the top hundred boys' names in the State of Hawaii. Kaimana is also the name of a beach in Honolulu.
