Kalisha is a combination of Lisha and the prefix Ka-. Lisha is most likely a diminutive of Felicia. Felicia originates in Latin language and means "fortunate woman". It is a feminine form of Felicius, ultimately derived from Felix. As a feminine given name it started being used in the Middle Ages and has been fairly popular until today.
