Leda

Leda originates in Greek language and possibly means "true woman". In Greek mythology, Leda was the queen of Sparta, the mother of Helen of Troy and Castor and Pollux. According to the myth, Leda was seduced by Zeus in the form of a swan. This story has been an inspiration for many artists, especially in the Renaissance period. As a feminine given name Leda is very rare in the United States.
