Marcas

Marcas is a Scottish and Irish form of Mark, itself a variant of Marcus. Marcus is derived from the Latin meaning "dedicated to Mars". Mars was the Roman god of war, known to the Greeks as god Ares. It is also the fourth planet in the solar system. Marcus is a popular masculine given name not only in the United States, but in different spellings all over the world.
