Minerva

Minerva was the Roman goddess of medicine, poetry, commerce, wisdom, and also the inventor of music. She is very oftern depicted with and owl, a symbol of wisdom. Athena would be her equivalent in Greek mythology. The name itself is probably derived from Latin, meaning "intellect, mind".
