Muskowekwan

Muskowekwan originates in Native American languages and means "tough quill". This was the name of one of the First Nations in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada, made mainly of Cree peoples. The name was taken from the first chief of this people. As a masculine given name, Muskowekwan is very rare in the United States these days.
