Nelinha

Nelinha is a Portuguese diminutive of Manuela, itself a variant of Emanuele and a feminine form of Manuel. Emanuele originates in Hebrew language and means "God accompanies us". It is a feminine form of Emmanuel or Immanuel, a name which appears in the Bible. As a feminine given name Emanuele is rather rare in the United States nowadays.
