Nyssa

Most likely originates in Greek language and means "inception, beginning", or "goal". Some sources suggest, though, different meanings in different languages, eg. "woman" in Arabic or "finish" in Latin. Nyssa is also the genus name of the Nyssa sylvatica tree.
