Osvald

Osvald is a Danish, Norwegian and Swedish variant of Oswald. Oswald originates in Old English language and means "God's rule". As a masculine given name it is rather rare these days in the United States. It functions as a surname as well, the infamous bearer being Lee Harvey Oswald, the assumed assassin of the former US President John F. Kennedy.
