Spring

Spring originates in Old English language and is taken from the word for one of the four temperate seasons, the period between winter and summer. The word itself is derived from Old English and means "jump forward". March 20th or 21st, the vernal equinox, is considered the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
